    PRESS COMUNIQUE

The Centrist Democrat International (CDI-IDC) strongly condemns the recent attacks perpetrated in Paris on Friday, 13 November 2015, in which 132 innocent citizens were assassinated in cold blood by several terrorist bands linked to the Islamic State. We are all Paris!
We express our solidarity and our support to the victims of this vile attack against our societies, and especially to their families and close relatives, firmly hoping for the speedy recovery of the wounded.
We join the strong conviction of civil society worldwide to continue living in peaceful co-existence in the entire world. We will never give in to terrorists who seek to undermine our spirit and will continue to fight to safeguard the rule of law and full respect for human rights.
For this reason, we will continue to struggle with all legal means in order to defend democracy, liberty and tolerance as opposed to fear and mindless violence.
CDI President Andrés Pastrana has stated : “I am in full solidarity with the families and the French people who once more have suffered from a vile attack against innocent members of society. We will never give in to this message of violence and fear. CDI hence declares : ‘Je suis Paris’”
